“Steroids work outside the body, nutrition works with the body.” A factual statement by the late Leroy Colbert. AAS(Anabolic Androgenic Steroids) are very popular. More non-athletes use them recreationally than athletes. They were originally intended, and still are, for ailing people with degenerative diseases. Bodybuilders and athletes discovered that they were also an asset to help with performance enhancement and body compositional changes. I don’t necessarily advise others to take them or not to take them but, like many others, I list the pros and cons of their usage in order for an informed decision to be made. How does one take dietary supplements to maximize nutrition? I briefly touched on maximizing nutrition in one of my other posts. With so many¬†genetically modified foods on the market I believe it is essential, now more than ever, to add dietary supplements to one’s lifestyle, in conjunction with weight training, in order to maximize nutrition.
